Attendance, Absences & Make-ups
- What happens if my child misses a class?

The system will not generate an excused absence or make-up token if the absence is not entered through the app in time. We do not accept absence/make-up requests by phone or email. - How do make-up classes and drop dates work?
Make-up tokens must be used before the student’s official drop date (or before an approved extended drop date). If an enrolment has been discontinued, we cannot schedule or transfer classes after the drop date unless the drop date is extended and the make-up token is used prior to that (original or extended) drop date. - Can you move a final class because my child is sick?
Only if the drop date is extended and the make-up token for the missed session is used before the (original or extended) drop date. Submit requests promptly through the app or contact the office.
Classes, Cancellations & Public Holidays
- What happens if a class is cancelled by Sparta?
If we cancel a class (coach illness, weather, facility issue), families will be notified via the app/email and offered a make-up class or credit. We aim to give as much notice as possible. - What happens on public holidays and during school term breaks?Sparta runs regular classes throughout the school holidays — our timetable is not tied to school terms. However, we do not operate on public holidays or during Easter and Christmas breaks. If a scheduled class falls on a public holiday, the session will not run and you will not be charged for that class.
